About the role

We are seeking an experienced On-Page SEO Specialist to drive organic growth for a fast‑moving digital marketplace. Based in Canada, you will combine data analysis, content strategy, and search optimization to improve visibility, engagement, and business performance across multiple content verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive on‑page SEO strategies to boost organic traffic and revenue.
• Analyze existing content performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SERP evaluations to uncover new content opportunities.
• Identify emerging content niches and validate long‑term growth potential.
• Create and prioritize content roadmaps based on search demand and strategic value.
• Collaborate with content, editorial, and marketing teams to embed SEO best practices throughout the content lifecycle.
• Monitor SEO metrics, evaluate results, and continuously refine strategies using data‑driven insights.

• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm updates, industry trends, and evolving SEO best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in on‑page SEO, content strategy, or organic growth within e‑commerce, marketplaces, or content‑focused businesses.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, search intent, keyword research, content optimization, and ranking factors.
• Proven track record of creating SEO strategies that deliver measurable traffic, conversion, or revenue growth.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Experience conducting competitor research and performance analysis across multiple categories.
