Oilfield Labourer

About the role

Sideworx Connect is looking for skilled Oilfield Labourers to join its roster of short‑term and seasonal employees. The role involves physical work on oil‑field sites, supporting rig and pipeline operations while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical labor such as digging trenches and lifting heavy equipment.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools used in the oil field.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of rigs, pipelines, and related equipment.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Transport oil and other materials as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and communicate effectively with team members.

Required profile

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with reliable transportation (asset).
• Physically fit; able to lift up to 100 lb and work 12+ hour rotating shifts.
• Pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Experience operating oil‑field machinery such as pumps, compressors and generators (asset).
