About the Position

Are you a recent nursing graduate looking to launch your professional career in a supportive and dynamic environment? Island Health is seeking passionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN) to join our dedicated healthcare teams starting in Spring 2026 across Vancouver Island.

Main Missions

  • Provide high-quality patient care within various clinical settings including acute care, specialties, long-term care, mental health, and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to implement effective care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols to maintain excellence in patient outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Nursing (RN) or Psychiatric Nursing (RPN).
  • Eligible for provisional licensure or holding active registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Possession of a valid BLS (Basic Life Support) Level C certification.
  • Adaptability to work in diverse clinical environments and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Relevant post-basic or post-graduate training may be required depending on the specific specialty.
