Marketing Data Analyst

About the role

Maplesoft Group is seeking a remote Marketing Data Analyst to support a Federal Government client’s transition to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). The analyst will help improve the quality, usability, and governance of marketing data used for campaign execution, reporting, and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze marketing and customer data, profile datasets, and document data definitions and business rules.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues that could impact reporting, segmentation, or campaign execution.
• Gather and clarify requirements from business stakeholders and collaborate with technical teams to understand source systems and data flows.
• Support the development and implementation of data governance practices to ensure consistency, traceability, and confidence in SFMC data.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to align on data requirements, priorities, and deliverables.
• Prepare documentation, validation artifacts, and governance reports.

Required profile

• Experience with data analysis and profiling in a marketing or CRM context.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively across business, analytics, and technology teams.
