Manager, Corporate Strategy & Business Development

About the role

McKesson is seeking a high‑performing Manager to join its Corporate Strategy & Business Development (CSBD) team. You will help shape and execute strategies that protect and grow the enterprise, working directly with senior leaders to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Articulate end‑to‑end value propositions that integrate physical and digital assets based on patient insights and market data.
• Identify gaps in the patient experience and develop strategies to bridge them, including partner evaluation, acquisition targets, or internal growth initiatives.
• Support inorganic growth opportunities, conduct M&A exploration, and assist with transaction execution.
• Gather and analyze external market data, produce strategic insights, and create high‑quality presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Manage strategic projects independently, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality work products.
• Collaborate across the enterprise, building relationships with stakeholders and contributing to CSBD’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or related functions.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically, pay attention to detail, and present with executive presence.
