About the role

Key responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skin care, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing and grooming.
- Maintain confidentiality concerning residents, staff and organizational information.
- Work within the NSAHO Scope of Practice and provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility infection control policies.
Required profile
- Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sectors check within the last 6 months.
- Current Standard First‑Aid and CPR certification.
- Successful completion or enrollment in a CCA/PSW program and registration with the CCA Registry.
- Effective communication in English, physically fit, reliable and punctual.
