Maintenance Technician / Millwright (Industrial)

About the role

Durabuilt Windows & Doors is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Millwright to support its large‑scale manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for keeping electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment running efficiently while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, electrical codes and manufacturer manuals to install and maintain industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and program PLC systems, as well as test continuity, voltage and resistance of components.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems and perform preventive maintenance on all machinery.
• Execute daily inspections, routine maintenance, and keep accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
• Collaborate with GED technicians to diagnose and resolve issues on GED lines, and create troubleshooting guides and SOPs.
• Assist with general labour, pipefitting, carpentry and millwright tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining GED machines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight production timelines.
