Maintenance Millwright – Taber Manufacturing Facility

About the role

Join PepsiCo’s Taber manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Millwright. You will keep critical production equipment running smoothly, support upgrades, and contribute to a safe, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant machinery.
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns, conducting root‑cause analysis.
• Install and upgrade production lines with new equipment and technology.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and production staff to maintain optimal facility capacity.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives, adhering to food‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Certified Journeyman Millwright (Alberta or Red Seal).
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Physical ability to lift 45‑60 lb regularly and push/pull up to 80 lb, with sustained standing, walking, and bending.

Required skills

• Electrical or power‑engineering/steam ticket (asset).
• Predictive maintenance techniques.
• Instrumentation knowledge.
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) familiarity.
