Maintenance Leader

About the role

Clorox is seeking a Maintenance Leader to manage a team of 12‑15 licensed trades professionals in a manufacturing environment. The role supports day‑to‑day operations through equipment troubleshooting, maintenance execution, and process optimization while driving efficiency and reliability across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Support Operations by improving plant efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain maintenance systems and processes aligned to budget targets, using KPIs to track progress.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Maintenance Team, fostering a culture of respect, fairness, and accountability.
• Plan and lead small‑ to medium‑scale capital projects, coordinating external contractors as directed by the Engineering Manager.
• Champion Operational Excellence programs, including preventive maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives, and critical spare parts management.
• Oversee building maintenance activities and manage third‑party vendors and contractors.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years supervising skilled trades (millwrights, electricians, etc.).
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills that integrate technical and business factors.
• Effective communication skills in both formal and informal settings.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting of rotating equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Electrical knowledge, including PLC programming.
• Experience with controls, safety circuits, sensors, and vision systems.
