Maintenance Journeyman (Millwright & Electrician)

About the role

We are seeking experienced journeymen to join our manufacturing team in Abbotsford and Mission, BC. The role includes two electrician positions (afternoon and night shifts) and one millwright position (afternoon shift) supporting the production of organic food products.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to plan work procedures.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices and machine tools as required.
• Install, align, disassemble, and relocate stationary mechanical equipment.
• Adjust machinery, repair or replace defective parts, and perform routine cleaning and lubrication.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Red Seal Millwright certification (dual ticket preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and alignment with healthy‑living values.

Required skills

• Blueprint and schematic reading.
• Operation of hoisting/lifting equipment.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent mathematical and hand‑eye coordination.
