About the role

Join Blaisdale Montessori School as a Lower Elementary Montessori Teacher, working Monday to Friday in a vibrant campus on the border of Toronto and Pickering. You will create engaging, equity‑focused learning experiences for children while collaborating with families, community partners, and dedicated staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement a comprehensive Lower Elementary Montessori program.
• Observe, document, and assess children’s learning progress.
• Build strong relationships with families and involve them in the educational process.
• Collaborate with co‑workers, community partners, and children to foster a supportive environment.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper use of all classroom materials and equipment.
• Host parent events such as science fairs and Mother’s Day teas, and independently prepare report cards.

Required profile

• Passionate about Montessori philosophy and lifelong learning.
• Energetic, resourceful, and creative in designing learning opportunities.
• Strong leadership qualities with diplomatic communication skills.
• Genuine warmth for guiding children and their families.
• Commitment to equity, cultural awareness, and inclusive practices.

Required skills

• Elementary Montessori Certification (required).
• Familiarity with recognized Montessori curricula such as AMS, NCME, or AMI.
• Excellent classroom, time‑management, and organizational abilities.
