About the role
Join our busy Italian bistro as a line cook, preparing high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Determine food portion sizes and associated costs.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for service.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
- Handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- 1–2 years experience as a line cook.
- Secondary school graduation.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast‑paced setting.
- Attention to detail and reliability.
- Dependable, flexible, organized, and a team player.
