About the role

Join OpenRoad Toyota Port Moody as a Licensed Automotive Technician in the Service Department. This full‑time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $38.75‑$44.75 and provides the opportunity to work with a wide range of OEM brands while contributing to a forward‑thinking, customer‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and complete repair orders accurately and efficiently, communicating with the Service Advisor and parts department as needed.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Road‑test vehicles to verify quality of work and ensure safety.
• Supervise apprentice technicians when assigned and maintain a clean, hazard‑free shop environment.
• Document work performed, create quotes for additional services, and stay current with factory technical bulletins.

Required profile

• Fully licensed automotive technician with a valid Canadian driver’s licence.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration within the Service Department.
