Leasing Manager

About the role

The Leasing Manager reports to the Associate Director of Leasing and is responsible for overseeing all leasing activities and performance analytics for Centurion‑owned apartment communities in Alberta. This role leads a team of Leasing Agents to achieve occupancy, revenue, and customer‑service targets while ensuring consistent execution of leasing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and evaluate a team of Leasing Agents, set clear leasing targets, and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee day‑to‑day leasing operations, monitor traffic, lead sources, conversion metrics and adjust strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Conduct market surveys, analyze competing properties, and provide pricing and incentive recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Call Centre teams to align lead generation, advertising effectiveness, and property listings.
• Maintain accurate leasing reports, prepare weekly and monthly performance summaries, and ensure compliance with company policies and legislation.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education with 5–7 years of direct residential leasing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and multitask in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Proven experience in training, mentoring, and improving team performance.
• Willingness to travel throughout Canada as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using Yardi property‑management system (considered an asset).
