Junior SolidWorks & Systems Support Engineer (18‑Month Contract)

About the role

WhiteWater is seeking a Junior SolidWorks and Systems Support Engineer to join its IT Engineering Systems team in Richmond, BC. This 18‑month contract role focuses on ensuring continuous availability of engineering systems, providing user support, and contributing to system enhancements that underpin water‑park design and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training for users of engineering systems.
• Become a subject‑matter expert in SolidWorks and custom engineering applications.
• Liaise with CAD and PLM vendors to resolve bugs, request enhancements, and manage functionality gaps.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and improvements with emphasis on stability and scalability.
• Create and maintain clear, user‑focused documentation for applications and system configurations.
• Contribute to software development following IT standards for coding, version control, and change management.
• Align personal goals with departmental objectives and complete performance reviews.

Required profile
