AutoCAD and Systems Support Engineer, Junior (18‑Month Contract)

About the role

WhiteWater is seeking a Junior AutoCAD and Systems Support Engineer to ensure continuous availability of engineering systems and provide user support. This 18‑month contract position is based in Richmond, BC, with the company’s headquarters moving to Vancouver in 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training for users of engineering systems.
• Become a subject‑matter expert in AutoCAD and custom engineering applications.
• Liaise with CAD and PLM software vendors to resolve bugs and request enhancements.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and improvements focusing on stability and scalability.
• Create and maintain clear user‑facing documentation for applications and system configurations.
• Contribute to software development following IT standards for coding, version control, and change management.
• Align personal goals with departmental objectives and complete performance reviews.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Completed engineering degree from a recognized university.
• Eligibility for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
