Junior Site Superintendent – Residential Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Site Superintendent to support the Site Superintendent in managing a multi‑family residential construction project. This position offers the chance to develop leadership skills on a fast‑paced, 4‑storey wood‑frame building site and can progress to a full Site Superintendent role.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors, facilitating smooth workflow.
• Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve issues or delays.
• Participate in site meetings, contribute to planning and scheduling.
• Ensure work complies with company policies, building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in 4‑storey wood‑frame, multi‑family construction.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Proven leadership, decision‑making and ownership mindset.
• Effective negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and architectural schematics.
• Knowledge of building techniques, building codes and safety regulations for multi‑story apartments.
