Junior Recruiter

About the role

M1 Composites is looking for an energetic Junior Recruiter to support day‑to‑day hiring activities. This entry‑level position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys speaking with candidates, learning the recruiting process, and taking ownership of sourcing and coordination tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Conduct high‑volume outbound calls and initial phone screenings.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews using email and calendar tools.
• Maintain organized candidate tracking using spreadsheets and shared documents.
• Post job openings and assist in updating job descriptions as needed.
• Support hiring managers by sharing candidate summaries and feedback.
• Follow up with candidates and ensure consistent communication throughout the process.
• Build basic candidate pipelines for recurring roles and ensure a professional candidate experience.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, customer service, sales, or similar people‑facing roles.
• Strong verbal communication skills and comfort making regular phone calls.
• High motivation, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized without structured systems.
• Good judgment when evaluating candidates and handling sensitive information.
• Interest in recruiting for technical or industrial roles is a plus.
• Bilingual French/English with very good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
