Junior Project Manager – Azure Cloud Projects

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager/Project Coordinator to support cloud migration and infrastructure initiatives, primarily on Microsoft Azure. This contract position offers a hybrid work model with occasional office visits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering Azure migration and infrastructure projects.
• Track milestones, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project.
• Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Organise project meetings, sprint planning sessions, stakeholder updates, and follow‑up activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, cloud architects, security, and technical teams to ensure successful execution.
• Support vendor coordination, budgeting, resource planning, and overall project governance.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and blockers to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (networking, servers, storage, security).
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (fundamentals or higher).
• Project management tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project.
• Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• ServiceNow and ITSM processes (nice to have).
