Junior Front-End Engineer (Hybrid, Montreal) – Up to $130k CAD

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Front‑End Engineer to join our fast‑growing technology team in Montreal. You will work in a hybrid setting, building modern, real‑time trading interfaces and visualising large, fast‑moving data sets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop React front‑end systems that power real‑time trading and live data streams.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualisations for large, fast‑moving datasets.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts to translate complex models and machine‑learning insights into intuitive user interfaces.
• Learn and apply modern front‑end patterns, including real‑time streaming, performance tuning, and best practices in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with React, TypeScript and Next.js.
• Solid computer‑science fundamentals; a degree is a plus but not mandatory.
• Passion for technology demonstrated through meetups, side projects, blogs, or similar activities.
• Ideally some exposure to Python.
