Junior Copywriter – Creative Agency

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Copywriter to join our creative team at Mekanism. You will collaborate closely with an Art Director and cross‑functional teams to develop compelling multi‑channel campaigns that resonate with audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Generate strong concepts and champion ideas with enthusiasm.
• Partner with the Art Director to develop creative concepts that meet project objectives.
• Work with Creative Directors, Account Services, Strategy and Delivery teams from briefing through production.
• Contribute to raising the agency’s creative standards through award‑winning work.
• Stay up‑to‑date with innovations, cultural trends and emerging technologies.
• Ensure messaging aligns with client goals and is clear, concise and grammatically accurate.
• Prepare and refine concepts for internal and client presentations.
• Support other teams on their creative briefs and actively participate in brainstorming sessions.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in an agency environment.
• Passion for creative ideas, popular culture, emerging tech and language.
• Strong conceptual thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Collaborative team player who can take direction and solve problems.
• Adaptable to changing priorities, deadlines and fast‑paced work.
• Undergraduate diploma or degree in design, marketing or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
