Junior Accountant – Coop

About the role

Join Service Inspired Restaurants as a Junior Accountant supporting the Coop division. You will work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and collaborating with senior accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Process all accounts payable information and prepare cheque disbursements on time.
• Assist with account reconciliations, including inter‑company payables/receivables.
• Review and reconcile supplier statements and respond to supplier inquiries promptly.
• Support senior accountants with various accounting activities and perform general administrative duties.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business/Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with an accounting software application (Great Plains preferred).
