IT Technician

About the role

UniTech is seeking an IT Technician to provide on‑site hardware and software support to its customers across Saskatchewan. The role involves travelling to client locations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring network security while delivering prompt, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hardware and software maintenance and support to end users.
• Install, configure, and test IT equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain network security and monitor for potential threats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Investigate reported problems, research solutions, and document actions taken.
• Manage territory inventory, complete service call reports, and oversee parts logistics.
• Provide clear documentation of support calls and resolutions.

Required profile

• Computer Systems Technology diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the service area.
