IT Support Technician – Edmonton

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, service‑oriented IT Support Technician to be the primary IT contact for our Edmonton (or Delta) site. Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you will deliver day‑to‑day technical assistance, ensure smooth operation of hardware and software, and support regional IT initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests via phone, email, chat and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and peripheral issues.
• Provide on‑site assistance at the Edmonton, AB (or Delta, BC) facility and remote support to other Western Canada locations.
• Document incidents, apply standard procedures and enforce SLA expectations.
• Set up, move, replace and maintain workstations, printers and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate hardware/software inventory and flag aging equipment for replacement.
• Assist in roll‑out of new hardware, software and support tools.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset with clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with Digital Support and Infrastructure groups.
• Willingness to be on‑site four days per week in a fast‑paced environment.
