Technical Architect – IT Infrastructure & Cloud Solutions

About the role

Yardstick Technologies is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the design, planning, and delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to turn business needs into scalable, secure solutions while supporting the company’s commitment to excellence and simplicity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Design and architect infrastructure solutions aligned with customer objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of upgrades, migrations, cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.
• Deploy, configure and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, SharePoint and related cloud services.
• Design and maintain networking environments, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, routing, security appliances and server infrastructure.
• Configure and support Fortinet technologies.
• Implement and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Support hybrid and cloud infrastructure across on‑premises and Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking and cloud issues.
• Act as senior escalation point for high‑priority incidents.
• Provide technical guidance, maintain documentation and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Track project time, update work notes and meet weekly billable utilization targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting, implementing and managing IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies.
• Proven ability to design, deploy and maintain networking and virtualization solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
