IT Support Assistant (6‑Month Contract)

About the role
The IT Support Assistant will work closely with the Manager, Infrastructure & Operations to support a range of IT initiatives at Durham Community Health Centre. This six‑month contract position offers hands‑on experience with cloud migration, inventory management, and hardware/software upgrades in a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Conduct regular audits and update the IT inventory database.
- Track and manage IT supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Support onboarding of new staff by preparing and configuring devices.
- Assist with cloud migration projects and technology‑assisted solutions.
- Coordinate hardware and software upgrades in collaboration with the Managed Service Provider.
- Ensure all IT operations comply with healthcare sector standards.
