Internal Audit Analyst

About the role

The Internal Audit Analyst will deliver high‑quality, risk‑based audits that strengthen Toyota Financial Services' control environment and support effective governance. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting on internal and SOX audits while collaborating with compliance and risk teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit planning, execution, and reporting in line with IIA standards and internal methodologies.
• Perform risk assessments, evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Independently conduct audit and SOX testing, stakeholder interviews, documentation reviews, and data analysis.
• Maintain internal audit and SOX risk assessments for assigned processes and provide recommendations.
• Support remediation by performing follow‑up testing and preparing deficiency reports.
• Partner with Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management to share risk insights.
• Utilize data‑analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, TeamMate) to expand audit coverage and generate actionable insights.
• Prepare well‑documented working papers and contribute to audit reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interviews and report preparation.
• Experience conducting internal audits and SOX testing.
• Collaborative approach to work with audit leadership and business units.
