Intermediate Software Developer

About the role

ICBC’s Digital team is looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to help build and sustain customer‑facing web and mobile solutions. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy both packaged and custom software components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in reliability, performance, and security.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Contribute to cloud‑native architecture design and implementation on AWS.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and Python.
• Experience with Java and React is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience building and operating solutions in AWS.
• Proven track record implementing DevOps practices for large‑scale, customer‑facing applications.
