Interim Recruitment Coordinator (Hybrid)

About the role

The Recruitment Coordinator provides day‑to‑day administrative support to a team of Talent Acquisition consultants at Canadian Tire Corporation. Working on a hybrid schedule, the role ensures smooth processing of hiring requests, offer letters and new‑hire documentation while delivering a positive candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process corporate hiring requests, manage timelines and gather required information from internal stakeholders.
• Create offer letters and administer new‑hire documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and candidates throughout recruitment and onboarding, directing escalations as needed.
• Liaise with external vendors to complete candidate due‑diligence checks.
• Maintain and update Talent Acquisition records, data files and reporting documents.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Business, Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 1 year of HR administration experience, preferably with exposure to talent acquisition.
• Strong professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate a sense of urgency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
• Familiarity with Workday is an asset.
