Infusion Nurse

About the role

The Infusion Nurse will join Innomar Strategies in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area to deliver safe, accurate intravenous and specialty therapy administration. Working on‑site, you will assess patients, monitor vital signs, manage infusion devices, and educate patients and caregivers on treatment protocols and self‑care.

Key responsibilities

• Administer intravenous and specialty therapies according to clinical protocols and physician orders.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document treatment responses.
• Manage infusion devices, maintain venous access, and address infusion‑related issues promptly.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding therapy, side effects, and self‑care practices.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation in electronic health records.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support medication access, adherence, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Current RN license in good standing in a Canadian province and completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong clinical background with experience in home infusion, direct patient care, and critical or acute care settings.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing clinical priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, trauma‑informed approach.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset for the Montreal region.

Required skills

• Venous access and infusion device management.
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency.
• BLS and CPR certification (ACLS or equivalent considered an asset).
