Information Technology Support Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Support Specialist provides first‑line technical assistance to end‑users, ensuring that laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals operate smoothly. You will be the go‑to person for troubleshooting, device deployment and ticket management in a fast‑paced corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L1 support for Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook and OneDrive, as well as basic network connectivity (Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, VPN).
• Image, configure and deploy hardware using tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM or SmartDeploy; manage onboarding/offboarding checklists.
• Maintain accurate asset records in the IT Asset Management database and handle hardware component replacements.
• Log, categorize, track and resolve incidents in ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk or Zendesk, adhering to SLA targets and documenting solutions.

Required profile

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree in IT or related field is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a helpdesk, desktop support or EUC environment.
• Strong customer‑centric communication, active listening and disciplined adherence to security policies.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 and macOS troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 administration (password resets, account locks, Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Hardware assembly and component swaps for Dell, HP or Lenovo devices.
• Imaging and deployment tools: Microsoft Intune, SCCM, SmartDeploy.
• Ticketing platforms: ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, Zendesk.
• Collaboration tools: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex.
• Basic Active Directory knowledge.
• Foundational certifications (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate) are a plus.
