About the role
The Industrial Engineering team at Maple Leaf Foods is seeking an experienced specialist to join the Heritage Facility. You will establish labour standards, track performance, and support strategic initiatives that drive efficiency across our manufacturing network.
Key responsibilities
- Measure, document, and update labour standards to ensure accurate costing of labour, packaging, and raw materials.
- Lead master capacity planning in partnership with Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
- Provide manufacturing insight (cost, capacity, capability) for product development and innovation projects.
- Execute process optimisation activities such as line balancing, labour optimisation, line debottlenecking, and waste elimination using IE tools.
- Support strategic initiatives with objective, analytical guidance to sustain growth.
Required profile
- Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) degree from a recognized post‑secondary institution.
- Professional Engineering designation (or eligibility).
- 3‑5+ years of relevant experience in consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, or high‑speed manufacturing environments.

What we offer
- Base salary ranging from $71,000 to $103,000 CAD per year.
- Eligibility for an annual short‑term incentive plan.
