HR Generalist

About the role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Mississauga. In this position you will partner with managers and employees to deliver HR solutions that support our transportation equipment business. You will play a key role in employee relations, HR systems administration, training support, and strategic HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR partner, advising managers and employees on policies and best practices.
• Support the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, job changes, and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate employee data in ADP Workforce Now and ensure data integrity.
• Administer training programs using Litmos, track completion and generate reports.
• Collaborate with Payroll to process employee changes accurately and on time.
• Assist with employee‑relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Contribute to HR projects, continuous‑improvement initiatives and prepare HR metrics.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of discretion handling confidential information.
• Team‑player mindset with initiative and continuous‑learning attitude.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now (HRIS).
• Experience using Litmos or a comparable Learning Management System.
