HR Coordinator – Records Management & Recruitment

About the role

Our client, a public‑sector regulatory organization, is looking for a detail‑driven HR Coordinator to support a key records‑management and recruitment initiative. This three‑month contract will involve digitizing HR files, cleaning data, and assisting with structured resume screening.

Key responsibilities

• Review, inventory, and map digital HR files, flagging inconsistencies, duplicates, and outdated records.
• Design a future‑state folder structure and standardized naming conventions.
• Digitize physical HR files while ensuring secure and accurate record keeping.
• Analyze employment and payroll reports using Excel tools (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) to identify discrepancies.
• Screen resumes against competency criteria and shortlist candidates for governance committees using evaluation grids.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of HR administration or recruitment support experience, including resume screening.
• Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently within a small team.
