Director, Change Enablement

About the role

EQ Bank is seeking a senior leader to build and run its enterprise Change Enablement practice within People & Talent. Reporting to the VP of Talent, Transformation & Design, the Director will ensure employee readiness, adoption and sustained behavior change across major transformation initiatives such as AI deployment, PC Financial integration and the EQB 2.0 operating model.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise Change Enablement methodology, intake process, demand prioritisation and governance.
• Partner with program sponsors, business leaders and functional teams to align change, structure, process and value‑realisation plans.
• Lead impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, readiness assessments and adoption planning for high‑impact initiatives.
• Maintain a consolidated change calendar, provide executive‑level reporting on change saturation, readiness and adoption velocity, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Build and manage a pre‑qualified contractor pool, oversee the Change Enablement budget and contribute to broader People & Talent strategy.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Business, HR, Organizational Psychology or related field; graduate degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience with at least seven years leading enterprise‑scale organizational change, technology or AI transformation.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries and coordinating cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret adoption telemetry and readiness data for senior leadership.

Required skills

• Prosci change management methodology (certified).
• CCMP or equivalent change management certification.
