HR Business Partner

About the role

Mortgage Automator is seeking a practical, hands‑on HR Business Partner to support day‑to‑day HR activities across its fast‑growing SaaS platform. You will work closely with leaders, employees, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and other internal teams to ensure consistent HR practices and compliance across the United States and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, providing timely HR guidance.
• Support talent acquisition processes, partnering with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team.
• Assist with onboarding, performance management and employee experience initiatives.
• Interpret and apply HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide payroll support, delivering accurate and deadline‑driven information.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and business information.

Required profile

• Hands‑on execution: ability to own work from start to finish.
• Practical judgment: assess situations, identify risk and know when to escalate.
• Relationship management: build trust with leaders, employees and cross‑functional partners.
