Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces are clean, tidy and well‑maintained in a hotel, motel or resort environment. You will work independently in a fast‑paced setting, handling a variety of cleaning and guest service tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors; vacuum carpets, rugs and upholstered furniture.
• Dust furniture, make beds, change sheets and replenish towels and toiletries.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures, elevators and other high‑traffic areas.
• Handle lost‑and‑found items, respond to guest requests for extra supplies, and provide basic facility information.
• Launder clothing and linens, mend items, and perform light housekeeping duties such as window and wall cleaning.
• Assist guests with personal hygiene needs and address complaints or concerns promptly.
• Maintain stock of linen, supplies and ensure proper waste disposal.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in hospitality.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 9 kg, bending, crouching and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility, initiative and teamwork orientation.
