About the role
The restaurant is seeking a reliable Food Counter Attendant to support daily operations at the service counter. You will work directly with customers, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment while handling food preparation and service tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs after use.
- Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations.
- Package take‑out orders, portion and wrap foods.
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items as needed.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and take orders.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh items.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Recognized employer under government programs.
