Barista & Receptionist – Office Services

About the role

Canaccord Genuity is looking for a professional, adaptable team member to support front‑office and office services functions. The role blends barista duties, receptionist responsibilities, and general office support in a fast‑paced corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and specialty beverages using an Apia Life Nuova Simonelli machine.
• Provide high‑quality customer service, greet guests, take orders and address inquiries promptly.
• Handle a high‑volume multi‑line switchboard, greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts.
• Maintain inventory of coffee supplies, order stock, receive deliveries and keep the coffee area clean.
• Keep the reception area and boardrooms organized, schedule meetings and manage calendars.
• Process invoices/expenses, handle mail and courier services, and manage access card programming.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of barista experience in a fast‑paced setting.
• Experience with manual or semi‑automatic coffee machines; familiarity with Apia Life Nuova Simonelli is preferred.
• Receptionist experience in a professional corporate environment is an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
