Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Assistance

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and assistance to clients in a private home setting in Montréal. The role involves supporting individuals with Alzheimer's disease, disabilities, and the elderly with daily living activities while ensuring their safety and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
• Provide medication administration and first‑aid in emergencies.
• Assist clients with water activities, regular exercise, and mobility.
• Prepare, serve, and plan nutritious meals and therapeutic diets.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and clothing repairs.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Change non‑sterile dressings and provide companionship.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• CPR, First Aid, Health Care Aide, and Personal Support Worker certificates.
• 1‑2 years of experience in personal support or home care.
• Strong punctuality, dependability, and client‑focused attitude.
• Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and teamwork.

• Full‑time, fixed‑term contract with a minimum wage of CAD 18 per hour.
