Helper / Carpenter

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Helper / Carpenter to join our team at Toor Custom Framing Ltd in Calgary. This permanent, full‑time position offers a starting wage of $26 per hour and includes employer‑covered relocation costs. The role involves supporting construction projects by handling materials, preparing sites, and assisting skilled carpenters.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications and clean up debris.
• Cut, shape and fit materials to create parts and components.
• Direct traffic around construction areas and manage salvaged materials.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
• Handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs) safely.

Required profile

• Flexibility and reliability in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks.
• Physically capable of handling loads up to 23 kg.
• Willingness to work evenings, mornings, days or weekends as needed.
• Team player with a readiness to relocate, with costs covered by the employer.
