About the role
Hansol Korean Restaurant is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead its kitchen team in Coquitlam. You will be responsible for delivering authentic Korean cuisine while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
- Supervise specialist chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers.
- Create new recipes and plan menus that meet quality standards.
- Instruct cooks on preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience as a chef or in a similar kitchen leadership role.
