About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Catering Service Manager to lead our catering operations at Pasta Polo and Brick Oven Pizza in Coquitlam. The role combines budget oversight, staff leadership, and client negotiation to ensure profitable and high‑quality catering services.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor the catering budget to boost and maintain restaurant profits.
- Develop detailed budgets covering food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
- Recruit, train and supervise a team of 5‑10 staff members.
- Cost products and services accurately to support pricing decisions.
- Negotiate contracts with clients for catering events and facility use.
- Participate in marketing plan development and implementation.
- Manage catering events from planning through execution.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience in catering or restaurant management.
- Budgetary responsibility for $100,001 – $500,000.
- Experience supervising a team of 5‑10 employees.
