About the role

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified Intermediate teacher to deliver Grade 8 instruction at Holy Cross School in Brantford. This full‑time (1.0 FTE) position supports the Board’s mission of faith‑based education and academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess Grade 8 curriculum in alignment with Ontario standards and Catholic values.
• Create engaging lesson plans and learning activities that meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.

Required profile

• Ontario College of Teachers certification with an Intermediate qualification.
