Global Research Business Management Associate

About the role

This position places you at the centre of RBC Capital Markets' Global Research platform, working directly with the COO and senior leadership. You will help drive the insights and analytics that support decision‑making across a world‑class equity research operation while gaining exposure to the full breadth of a global capital‑markets business.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage strategic initiatives for senior management.
• Conduct data management, financial tracking, and analysis for the Global Research department.
• Develop and produce analytics and ad‑hoc reports for leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
• Collaborate regularly with internal teams such as QTS, Marketing, Sales & Trading, Procurement, Market Data, and Compliance, as well as external clients and vendors.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with internal partners, clients, and vendors globally.
• Sharp analytical mindset, detail‑oriented, and capable of synthesising large data sets into actionable insights.
• Energetic, self‑motivated, and able to thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with capital‑markets products, processes, or systems and experience in research or sales‑and‑trading support is an asset.
