Full-Time Sales Associate

About the role

COBS Bread is looking for a friendly, full‑time Sales Associate to join its bakery team. You will be the face of the store, helping customers enjoy fresh baked goods while supporting daily bakery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a warm shopping experience.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, credit and debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain product displays and monitor inventory levels to keep items fresh and available.
• Support the bakery team with general duties such as cleaning, restocking, and occasional production assistance.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold high standards of customer service.

Required profile

• Positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and eager to learn new skills.
• Previous retail or customer‑service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to handle cash, credit card and debit transactions accurately.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 22 kg, and perform reaching, bending and moving tasks.
