About the role

The Medicine Hat School District is seeking a dynamic, caring educator to join Crescent Heights High School as a full‑time, probationary Humanities teacher for the 2026‑2027 academic year. This 1.0 FTE position runs from August 27, 2026 to June 30, 2027 and supports grades 7‑12.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Humanities curriculum aligned with district standards.
• Implement student‑centered, research‑based assessment practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues using the Collaborative Response Model.
• Contribute to the school’s French Immersion and Middle School programming where applicable.
• Participate in professional development and school community initiatives.
