Full-Time Pharmacist – Station Square Pharmacy

About the role

North Central Co-op is seeking a full‑time pharmacist to join the Station Square Pharmacy in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. As a member‑owned cooperative, we focus on delivering high‑quality health services while supporting our local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient‑focused counseling on prescriptions, over‑the‑counter medications, and health‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and assistants in medication dispensing and patient assistance.
• Manage inventory, including ordering of prescription and OTC products.
• Handle procurement, safekeeping, and disbursement of narcotics and controlled substances.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.Sc.Phm.) or Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognised institution.
• Current pharmacy licence in good standing.
• Retail pharmacy experience.
