EAP Case Manager – Fixed‑Term Remote (12‑Month)

About the role

Lyra Health Canada is seeking an experienced counsellor to serve as the first point of contact for employees and their dependents accessing EAP and mental health services. The remote, fixed‑term position (12 months) involves handling intake calls, providing brief goal‑focused therapeutic support, conducting risk assessments and managing cases across Ontario.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the first point of contact for service users via helpline or online chat.
• Deliver brief, goal‑oriented therapeutic support and psycho‑education in the moment.
• Complete clinical assessments to determine service‑user needs.
• Conduct robust risk assessments and implement risk‑management plans.
• Identify and refer appropriate EAP, short‑term counselling or external services.
• Accurately document all case information in the clinical database.
• Adhere to clinical and operational protocols, standards and service levels.
• Collaborate with global clinical teams and affiliate clinicians for appointments and case updates.

Required profile

• Master’s level counselling qualification meeting Canadian professional standards.
• Current registration or accreditation with a relevant professional body.
• Minimum three years of post‑qualification therapeutic delivery experience.
• Experience handling a broad range of psychological and workplace issues, including trauma, stress, anxiety, substance use and high‑risk cases such as suicide or abuse.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time-sensitive situations.
