Full-Time Pharmacist

About the role

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time pharmacist to join the Carbonear Remedy's Rx team in Carbonear, Newfoundland and Labrador. You will provide patient‑focused clinical services while supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medication reviews, chronic disease management, and develop care plans.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations.
• Assess drug therapy appropriateness, monitor effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, OTC products, and health‑related topics.
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists performing restricted activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Assist with routine pharmacy operations and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacy of Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Current injection certification.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
